Courses lead to…

Students who have successfully completed the Certificate IV Tertiary Preparation Program OR the Tertiary Access Program progress on to the Diploma, which is equivalent to the 1st year of the Curtin Bachelor degree.

Prospective students who have already completed the equivalent of the Australian Year 12 standard and meet the academic and English entry requirements are eligible for entry into the Diploma program. Successful completion of the Diploma program leads on to Year 2 of the Curtin Bachelor degree.

Note: Some courses have Higher English Language Requirements and compulsory course prerequisites. Students applying into the Engineering Program will need to show competency in Maths (including calculus), Physics and Chemistry. Refer to the Course Guide for full details.
Effective June 2011, the Certificate IV Tertiary Preparation Program has been renamed as Certificate IV Tertiary Preparation Program. Changes will be reflected on the website and the 2012 Course Guide in due course.
