I get a lot of enjoyment from working with students and watching their learning across the year. I enjoy supporting students to achieve their academic goals, by helping to equip them with the skills they will need as they progress in their studies.
How would you describe your teaching style?
My teaching style and philosophy have been shaped by having taught in many pharmacy and inter-professional health science units both at Curtin University and Curtin College, and the exposure to different teaching style and class engagement strategies. I have a very interactive teaching style and prefer to give the student more real-life examples and enhancing their internalisation of knowledge. I use a lot of activities and examples in my teaching to assist students learning and I encourage open discussion. I am open to new ideas and suggestions by both my peers and the students. Most importantly, I aim to provide students with an interesting and enjoyable learning experience.
