Colleges of Business and Technology (WA) Pty Ltd trading as Curtin College is registered as a higher education provider under the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). TEQSA regulates and assures the quality of Australia’s higher education sector (including universities). As a higher education provider, Curtin College adheres to these standards.

The Australian Qualifications Network (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework. The AQF was first introduced in 1995 to underpin the national system of qualifications in Australia, which encompasses higher education, vocational education and training and schools.

Industry Association Memberships

Curtin College is a member of Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA)

IHEA is a national industry body that represents a number of Australia’s registered and accredited independent higher education providers, educating domestic and international students. Membership is based on IHEA’s Code of Good Practice which is built on regulatory compliance, strong governance, ethical business models, quality teaching, and student engagement.

The College is also a member of the Western Australian Private Education and Training Industry Association (WAPETIA) – an association of schools and colleges dedicated to fair and ethical conduct and the provision of quality education in Western Australia.
