At Curtin College, we understand that every student's path is unique. Our mission is to provide you with the tools, support, and resources you need to thrive. This page is designed to guide you through the simple and seamless enrolment process. Our goal is to make sure you're fully prepared to dive into your second year of university studies and excel from day one.

Step-by-Step Enrolment Guide:

1. Accept Your Curtin College Offer:

Before you embark on an exciting journey with us, ensure that you have officially accepted your offer. This is a crucial first step that confirms your commitment to join Curtin College and your intention to progress to Curtin University.

How to accept your offer

2. Access Your Student Portal:

You can access your Curtin College Student Portal at any time via the Curtin College website. Simply click on Student Portal at the top of the page and you will be directed to the login screen.

Your USERNAME is your Curtin College ID (you can find this at the top left corner of your offer letter).

Your initial PASSWORD is your date of birth backwards (Example: 19 Sept 2001 = 20010919). After your login, you will be asked to create a unique password. You will need to use this password each time you login to the Student Portal and to the College Wi-Fi.

3. Set up your Curtin College email and profile:

To set up your Curtin College email, simply click on the email icon once you login to your Student Portal and follow the prompts. It is important for you to check your email regularly for updates about your program, enrolments, events and deadlines.

To update your student profile, click My Profile / Update My Profile.  Please ensure you update your personal details as soon as possible.

International students – enter your overseas address in the Permanent Home Address section, and your Australian address in the Street Address section. Do not overwrite your existing overseas address with your Australian street address. As part of your VISA requirements, you must update your Australian Street Address within 7 days of changing accommodation.

  • When providing your mobile/cell phone number, please add +61 in front of your Australian number and take the 0 out. For example: if your mobile number is 0412 123 456, please enter +61412123456.
  • If you are currently offshore and do not have a valid Australian mobile number, please leave the fields blank.

Domestic students – enter your Australian address in both Permanent Home Address and Street Address.

4. Learn about your Program Structure:

You can learn about your program by clicking on the My Program tile

Enrolment tip:

It is critical that you refer to your program structure, so that you select the correct units. If you choose units not recommended for this study period, you may have difficulties with timetable selection in future trimesters.

5. Build Your Timetable:

Now that you know which units you need to enrol in, click on the Enrolment & Registration tile, and click on “Register”

In the class times page, click the "+" sign to add a unit. Please refer to your Program details for unit selections.

Important Notes

> Timetable clash

You cannot select a class that clashes with any of the classes you have already chosen. You may have to change class selections before you can finalise your timetable.

> Study load

Full time: This is a study load of three (75%) or four units (100%) in a study period. Full-time study is a mandatory requirement if you are an international student or receiving Centrelink payments. Domestic students are encouraged to contact Centrelink directly.

Part time: This reduces the study load to one (25%) or two units (50%) in a study period. Domestic students who wish to study part-time, please send an email to support@curtincollege.edu.au

6. Finalise your timetable:

After you have selected your units, click “Next”. And then on “Finalise”.

If you wish to amend your timetable, you can do so here, by clicking on “Amend”. You will be directed back to Step 5.

If you have any questions, check out our Frequently Asked Questions page for international students  and domestic students. If you can’t find answers to your questions here, please feel free to send us an email at support@curtincollege.edu.au
